December 15, 2023: Frenchburg, KY 40322 Fans at Friday's league challenge between the Bath County Wildcats (Owingsville, KY) and the host Menifee County Wildcats (Frenchburg, KY), saw Bath County's basketball squad overcome Menifee County by a tally of 54-44.
With the victory, Bath County improves its record to 5-2 on the campaign. The Wildcats host Rowan County (Morehead, KY) to confront the Vikings in a District 61 challenge on Monday, December 18. The Vikings come into the challenge with a record of 4-3. Rowan County won 67-61 in their recent non-league challenge against Raceland (Raceland, KY)
Next up, the Wildcats confront the Breathitt County Bobcats (Jackson, KY) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, December 16. Menifee County will attempt to improve on its 1-5 season record. The Bobcats come into the challenge with a 5-2 record after their 51-17 league win over Jackson City (Jackson, KY).
