The Brewer Bears basketball team scored 62 points and restricted the visiting Rider Raiders to 47 in the Bears league victory on Friday.

The Bears now sport a 17-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Northwest for a 5A Region I District 5 contest on Tuesday, December 19. Brewer will battle a Texans team coming off a 68-16 league loss to Aledo (Aledo, TX). The Texans record now stands at 3-14.

The Raiders (5-6) will now prepare for their contest against Azle (Azle, TX). The Hornets come into the 5A Region I District 5 contest with a 7-8 record. In their last contest, Azle was defeated by Granbury (Granbury, TX), 43-31, in a league match.
