Michigan High School Basketball - L'Anse edges Forest Park
December 15, 2023: L'Anse, MI 49946 The L'Anse Purple Hornets (L'Anse, MI) basketball nipped the visiting Forest Park Trojans (Crystal Falls, MI), 36-33 in Friday's non-league test.
The Purple Hornets (1-1) will now prepare for their test against Baraga (Baraga, MI). The Vikings go into the Copper Mountain test with a 3-1 record. In their last test, Baraga got by Dollar Bay (Dollar Bay, MI), 70-18, in a league test.
The Trojans now own a 1-3 record. They play next when they host Superior Central for a non-league test on Tuesday, January 2. Forest Park will encounter a Cougars squad coming off a 58-31 non-league loss to Carney-Nadeau (Carney, MI). The Cougars record now stands at 0-1.
