Texas High School Basketball - Highland Park overwhelms MacArthur
December 15, 2023: Irving, TX 75062 Fans at Friday's league challenge between the Highland Park Scots (Dallas, TX) and the host MacArthur Cardinals (Irving, TX), saw Highland Park's basketball squad wallop MacArthur by a tally of 72-21.
With the victory, Highland Park improves its record to 11-6 on the campaign. The Scots host Berkner (Richardson, TX) to confront the Rams in a 6A Region I District 7 challenge on Monday, December 18. The Rams come into the challenge with a record of 8-7. Berkner lost 55-48 in their recent league challenge against Irving (Irving, TX)
Next up, the Cardinals confront the Lake Highlands Wildcats (Dallas, TX) in a 6A Region I District 7 challenge, on Tuesday, December 19. MacArthur will attempt to improve on its 2-10 season record. The Wildcats come into the challenge with a 7-7 record after their 55-52 league win over Richardson (Richardson, TX).
