Fans at Friday's non-league challenge between the Weed Cougars (Weed, CA) and the host Lassen Grizzlies (Susanville, CA), saw Weed's basketball squad wallop Lassen by a count of 44-11.

With the victory, Weed upgrades its record to 8-2 on the campaign. The Cougars travel to Del Norte (Crescent City, CA) to play the Warriors in a non-league challenge on Saturday, December 16. The Warriors come into the challenge with a record of 8-1. Del Norte won 52-43 in their recent non-league challenge against Trinity (Weaverville, CA)

Next up, the Grizzlies play the Trinity Wolves (Weaverville, CA) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, December 16. Lassen will attempt to upgrade on its 5-6 season record. The Wolves come into the challenge with a 5-6 record after their 52-43 non-league loss to Del Norte (Crescent City, CA).
