Memorial Mustangs (Houston, TX) backers were pleased Friday as they saw their basketball squad bounce the host Spring Woods Tigers (Houston, TX), 64-24 in a league bout.

With the victory, Memorial upgrades its record to 9-10 on the campaign. The Mustangs host Cypress Ridge (Houston, TX) to play the Rams in a 6A Region III District 17 bout on Tuesday, December 19. The Rams come into the bout with a record of 11-8. Cypress Ridge lost 62-44 in their recent league bout against Jersey Village (Houston, TX)

Next up, the Tigers play the Stratford Spartans (Houston, TX) in a 6A Region III District 17 bout, on Tuesday, December 19. Spring Woods will attempt to upgrade on its 7-9 season record.
