Georgia High School Basketball - Pierce County holds off Vidalia

December 15, 2023: Vidalia, GA 30474

Fans at Friday's league challenge between the Pierce County Bears (Blackshear, GA) and the host Vidalia Indians (Vidalia, GA), saw Pierce County's basketball squad hold off Vidalia by a tally of 41-39.

With the victory, Pierce County improves its record to 3-3 on the campaign. The Bears host Lanier County (Lakeland, GA) to confront the Bulldogs in a non-league challenge on Saturday, December 16. The Bulldogs come into the challenge with a record of 4-5. Lanier County lost 49-38 in their recent non-league challenge against Berrien (Nashville, GA)

Next up, the Indians confront the Montgomery County Eagles (Mt. Vernon, GA) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, December 16. Vidalia will attempt to improve on its 4-3 season record. The Eagles come into the challenge with a 7-0 record after their 63-27 non-league win over Wheeler County (Alamo, GA).
