Oklahoma High School Basketball - Sasakwa holds off Tupelo
December 15, 2023: Tupelo, OK 74572 Fans at Friday's non-league challenge between the Sasakwa Vikings (Sasakwa, OK) and the host Tupelo Tigers (Tupelo, OK), saw Sasakwa's basketball squad hold off Tupelo by a tally of 52-47.
With the victory, Sasakwa improves its record to 7-2 on the campaign. The Vikings travel to Bowlegs (Bowlegs, OK) to confront the Bison in a Little River challenge on Tuesday, January 2. The Bison come into the challenge with a record of 3-3. Bowlegs lost 75-25 in their recent league challenge against Varnum (Seminole, OK)
Next up, the Tigers confront the Stratford Bulldogs (Stratford, OK) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, January 2. Tupelo will attempt to improve on its 6-9 season record. The Bulldogs come into the challenge with a 2-5 record after their 38-36 non-league loss to Davis (Davis, OK).
