December 15, 2023: Cupertino, CA 95014 Fans at Friday's non-league challenge between the Homestead Mustangs (Cupertino, CA) and the visiting American Eagles (Fremont, CA), saw Homestead's basketball squad hold off American by a count of 54-52.
With the victory, Homestead upgrades its record to 5-2 on the campaign. The Mustangs travel to Independence (San Jose, CA) to play the 76ers in a non-league test on Thursday, December 28. The 76ers go into the test with a record of 0-2.
The Eagles now own a 5-3 record. They play next when they host Fremont for a non-league test on Saturday, December 16.
