California High School Basketball - American nips Los Altos
December 9, 2023: Los Altos, CA 94022 Fans at Saturday's non-league challenge between the American Eagles (Fremont, CA) and the host Los Altos Eagles (Los Altos, CA), saw American's basketball squad hold off Los Altos by a count of 63-62.
With the victory, American upgrades its record to 5-1 on the campaign. The Eagles travel to James Logan (Union City, CA) to play the Colts in a challenge on Tuesday, December 12. The Colts come into the challenge with a record of 0-1. James Logan lost 65-58 in their recent league challenge against Moreau Catholic (Hayward, CA)
Next up, the Eagles play the Saint Francis Lancers (Mountain View, CA) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, December 15. Los Altos will attempt to upgrade on its 4-3 season record. The Lancers come into the challenge with a 2-2 record after their 58-44 non-league win over Menlo School (Atherton, CA).
