December 15, 2023: Albuquerque, NM 87114 Fans at Friday's non-league challenge between the Cibola Cougars (Albuquerque, NM) and the visiting Hope Christian Huskies (Albuquerque, NM), saw Cibola's basketball squad overcome Hope Christian by a tally of 62-52.
With the victory, Cibola improves its record to 4-1 on the campaign. The Cougars host Pojoaque Valley (Pojoaque, NM) to confront the Elks/Elkettes in a non-league challenge on Saturday, December 16. The Elks/Elkettes come into the challenge with a record of 0-3. Pojoaque Valley lost 56-45 in their recent non-league challenge against Los Lunas (Los Lunas, NM)
Next up, the Huskies confront the Cleveland Storm (Rio Rancho, NM) in a non-league challenge, on Monday, January 8. Hope Christian will attempt to improve on its 2-2 season record.
