New Mexico High School Basketball - Cibola tipped by Albuquerque
December 21, 2023: Albuquerque, NM 87102 The Albuquerque Bulldogs basketball team scored 48 points and held the visiting Cibola Cougars to 42 in the Bulldogs non-league triumph on Thursday.
The Bulldogs now sport a 5-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Eldorado for a non-league contest on Friday, December 22. Albuquerque will meet a Golden Eagles team coming off a 76-58 non-league loss to Rio Rancho (Rio Rancho, NM). The Golden Eagles record now stands at 2-4.
The Cougars (5-2) will now prepare for their contest against Manzano (Albuquerque, NM). The Monarchs enter the non-league contest with a 1-4 record. In their last contest, Manzano was nudged by Atrisco Heritage Academy (Albuquerque, NM), 65-42, in a non-league contest.
