New Mexico High School Basketball - Cibola holds off Atrisco Heritage Academy
January 24, 2024: Albuquerque, NM 87121 Fans at Wednesday's non-league challenge between the Cibola Cougars (Albuquerque, NM) and the host Atrisco Heritage Academy Jaguars (Albuquerque, NM), saw Cibola's basketball squad hold off Atrisco Heritage Academy by a tally of 62-60.
With the victory, Cibola improves its record to 10-2 on the campaign. The Cougars host Volcano Vista (Albuquerque, NM) to confront the Hawks in a non-league challenge on Friday, January 26. The Hawks come into the challenge with a record of 8-0.
Next up, the Jaguars confront the Rio Rancho Rams (Rio Rancho, NM) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, January 26. Atrisco Heritage Academy will attempt to improve on its 7-7 season record. The Rams come into the challenge with a 13-2 record after their 84-20 non-league win over Los Alamos (Los Alamos, NM).
