January 19, 2024: Albuquerque, NM 87122 Cibola Cougars (Albuquerque, NM) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the host La Cueva Bears (Albuquerque, NM), 44-29 in a non-league bout.
With the win, Cibola upgrades its record to 9-2 on the season. The Cougars travel to Atrisco Heritage Academy (Albuquerque, NM) to face the Jaguars in a non-league game on Wednesday, January 24. The Jaguars enter the game with a record of 6-5.
With the defeat, La Cueva moves to 4-4 on the year. The Bears host Del Norte (Albuquerque, NM) to face the Knights in a non-league game on Saturday, January 20. The Knights enter the game with a record of 3-3.
