Yale Bulldogs (Yale, MI) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the host Richmond Blue Devils (Richmond, MI), 19-16 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Yale upgrades its record to 3-0 on the season. The Bulldogs host Harbor Beach (Harbor Beach, MI) to clash with the Pirates in a non-league bout on Tuesday, December 19. The Pirates go into the bout with a record of 1-0.

Next up, the Blue Devils clash with the Marine City Mariners (Marine City, MI) in a non-league bout, on Thursday, December 21. Richmond will attempt to upgrade on its 1-2 season record. The Mariners go into the bout with a 3-4 record after their 50-43 league win over Port Huron (Port Huron, MI).
