North Carolina High School Basketball - Salisbury can't hold off Thomasville
December 15, 2023: Salisbury, NC 28144 The Thomasville Bulldogs basketball team scored 42 points and restricted the host Salisbury Hornets to 40 in the Bulldogs non-league victory on Friday.
The Bulldogs now sport a 1-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Grimsley for a non-league contest on Saturday, December 16. Thomasville will battle a Whirlies team coming off a 38-36 non-league win over Northwest Guilford (Greensboro, NC). The Whirlies record now stands at 5-0.
The Hornets (1-3) will now prepare for their contest against West Davidson (Lexington, NC). The Dragons come into the non-league contest with a 3-3 record. In their last match, West Davidson was nipped by North Davidson (Lexington, NC), 58-46, in a non-league match.
