December 15, 2024: Washington, DC 20001 Gonzaga Eagles (Washington, DC) boosters left the game satisfied Sunday as they witnessed their basketball squad triumph over the visiting Chaminade Red Devils (St. Louis, MO), 74-46 in a non-league match.
With the victory, Gonzaga upgrades its record to 5-1 on the year. The Eagles host Our Lady of Good Counsel (Olney, MD) to face the Falcons in a Washington Catholic match on Sunday, December 22. The Falcons enter the match with a record of 4-3.
The Red Devils now sport a 4-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Vianney for a Metro Catholic match on Friday, December 20. Chaminade will face a Golden Griffins squad coming off a 83-64 non-league win over Helias (Jefferson City, MO). The Golden Griffins record now stands at 4-1.
