New Jersey High School Ice Hockey - St. Peter's Prep holds off St. John-Vianney
December 15, 2024: Jersey City, NJ 07302 In Sunday's non-league contest, the host St. Peter's Prep Marauders ice hockey team scored a close 3-2 victory over the St. John-Vianney Lancers.
The Marauders (3-2) will now prepare for their contest against St. Joseph Regional (Montvale, NJ). The Green Knights go into the non-league contest with a 4-1 record. In their last contest, St. Joseph Regional edged Pope John XXIII (Sparta, NJ), 3-1, in a non-league contest.
In their next game, the Lancers play the Middletown South Eagles (Middletown, NJ) in a non-league contest, on Tuesday, December 17. St. John-Vianney will attempt to better on its 2-3 season record. The Eagles go into the contest with a 0-3 record after their 7-3 non-league loss to Wall Township (Wall, NJ).
