In Monday's non-league contest, the host Huffman Vikings basketball team scored a good 74-61 triumph over the Benjamin Russell Wildcats.

The Vikings (10-6) will now prepare for their contest against Murphy (Mobile, AL). The Panthers go into the non-league contest with a 14-2 record.

In their next game, the Wildcats battle the Stanhope Elmore Mustangs (Millbrook, AL) in a non-league contest, on Friday, December 19. Benjamin Russell will attempt to better on its 2-5 season record. The Mustangs go into the contest with a 6-10 record after their 81-80 non-league win over Calhoun (Letohatchee, AL).
