Fans at Thursday's league challenge between the Pine River Area Bucks (Leroy, MI) and the visiting Evart Wildcats (Evart, MI), saw Pine River Area's basketball squad overcome Evart by a tally of 55-41.

With the victory, Pine River Area improves its record to 1-2 on the campaign. The Bucks travel to Chippewa Hills (Remus, MI) to confront the Warriors in a non-league challenge on Monday, December 20. The Warriors come into the challenge with a record of 1-1.

Next up, the Wildcats confront the Northern Michigan Christian Comets (McBain, MI) in a Highland challenge, on Friday, January 7. Evart will attempt to improve on its 2-2 season record.
