December 16, 2022: Alvarado, TX 76009 Fans at Friday's non-league challenge between the Alvarado Indians (Alvarado, TX) and the visiting Grandview Zebras (Grandview, TX), saw Alvarado's basketball squad overcome Grandview by a tally of 49-38.
With the victory, Alvarado improves its record to 15-2 on the campaign. The Indians travel to Venus (Venus, TX) to confront the Bulldogs in a 4A Region II District 10 challenge on Tuesday, December 20. The Bulldogs come into the challenge with a record of 4-11.
Next up, the Zebras confront the Harmony School of Innovation (Beverly Hills, TX) in a 3A Region III District 17 challenge, on Tuesday, December 20. Grandview will attempt to improve on its 9-7 season record. The come into the challenge with a 0-1 record after their 67-2 non-league loss to Penelope (Penelope, TX).
