January 6, 2023: Godley, TX 76044 Fans at Friday's league challenge between the Alvarado Indians (Alvarado, TX) and the host Godley Wildcats (Godley, TX), saw Alvarado's basketball squad overcome Godley by a tally of 59-47.
With the victory, Alvarado improves its record to 22-2 on the campaign. The Indians host Kennedale (Kennedale, TX) to confront the Wildcats in a 4A Region II District 10 challenge on Tuesday, January 10. The Wildcats come into the challenge with a record of 16-5. Kennedale lost 82-71 in their recent non-league challenge against Krum (Krum, TX)
Next up, the Wildcats confront the Ferris Yellowjackets (Ferris, TX) in a 4A Region II District 10 challenge, on Friday, January 13. Godley will attempt to improve on its 4-17 season record.
