Massachusetts High School Basketball - Bishop Fenwick topped by Archbishop Williams
December 16, 2022: Braintree, MA 02184 The Archbishop Williams Bishops basketball team scored 79 points and restricted the visiting Bishop Fenwick Crusaders to 61 in the Bishops league victory on Friday.
The Bishops now sport a 1-0 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Cardinal Spellman for a Catholic Central - Large contest on Wednesday, December 21. Archbishop Williams will battle a Cardinals team coming off a 73-62 league win over St. Mary's (Lynn, MA). The Cardinals record now stands at 1-0.
The Crusaders (0-4) will now prepare for their contest against Winthrop (Winthrop, MA). The Vikings come into the non-league contest with a 1-0 record. In their last contest, Winthrop prevailed over Salem Academy Charter (Salem, MA), 65-58, in a non-league contest.
