Massachusetts High School Basketball - Archbishop Williams tops Cardinal Spellman
January 27, 2023: Braintree, MA 02184 Archbishop Williams Bishops (Braintree, MA) backers were pleased Friday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the visiting Cardinal Spellman Cardinals (Brockton, MA), 80-62 in a league bout.
With the victory, Archbishop Williams upgrades its record to 12-0 on the campaign. The Bishops travel to Boston Latin Academy (Dorchester, MA) to play the Dragons in a non-league bout on Tuesday, January 31. The Dragons come into the bout with a record of 10-3.
Next up, the Cardinals play the Southeastern RVT Hawks (South Easton, MA) in a non-league bout, on Monday, January 30. Cardinal Spellman will attempt to upgrade on its 6-4 season record. The Hawks come into the bout with a 3-8 record after their 67-50 non-league loss to Newton South (Newton, MA).
