Lewis Central Titans (Council Bluffs, IA) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the visiting Atlantic Trojans (Atlantic, IA), 54-50 in a league bout.

With the win, Lewis Central upgrades its record to 5-2 on the season. The Titans host Urbandale (Urbandale, IA) to play the J-Hawks in a non-league bout on Saturday, December 17. The J-Hawks go into the bout with a record of 2-6. Urbandale lost 55-43 in their recent non-league bout against Southeast Polk (Pleasant Hill, IA)

Next up, the Trojans play the Nodaway Valley Wolverines (Greenfield, IA) in a non-league bout, on Saturday, December 17. Atlantic will attempt to upgrade on its 2-5 season record. The Wolverines go into the bout with a 4-4 record after their 68-28 league win over Martensdale-St. Mary's (Martensdale, IA).
