Fans at Friday's league challenge between the Farmville Central Jaguars (Farmville, NC) and the visiting Ayden - Grifton Chargers (Ayden, NC), saw Farmville Central's basketball squad wallop Ayden - Grifton by a tally of 77-33.

With the victory, Farmville Central improves its record to 7-0 on the campaign. The Jaguars travel to North Pitt (Bethel, NC) to play the Panthers in a 2A Conference 4 challenge on Tuesday, December 20. The Panthers come into the challenge with a record of 1-6. North Pitt lost 82-39 in their recent non-league challenge against Goldsboro (Goldsboro, NC)

Next up, the Chargers play the Washington Pam Pack (Washington, NC) in a 2A Conference 4 challenge, on Wednesday, December 21. Ayden - Grifton will attempt to improve on its 4-3 season record. The Pam Pack come into the challenge with a 3-4 record after their 71-59 league win over West Craven (Vanceboro, NC).
