Big Sandy Pioneers (Big Sandy, MT) backers were pleased Friday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the visiting Chinook Beeters (Chinook, MT), 67-52 in a league bout.

With the victory, Big Sandy upgrades its record to 5-0 on the campaign. The Pioneers travel to Hays-Lodge Pole (Hays, MT) to play the Thunder Birds in a C District 9 bout on Saturday, December 17. The Thunder Birds come into the bout with a record of 0-3. Hays-Lodge Pole lost 66-43 in their recent league bout against North Star (Rudyard, MT)

Next up, the Beeters play the Big Sandy Pioneers (Big Sandy, MT) in a C District 9 bout, on Thursday, January 19. Chinook will attempt to upgrade on its 0-2 season record.
