Texas High School Basketball - Crystal City nips Uvalde

Crystal City Javelinas (Crystal City, TX) backers were pleased Friday as they saw their basketball squad hold off the visiting Uvalde Coyotes/Lobos (for girls) (Uvalde, TX), 79-76 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Crystal City upgrades its record to 7-10 on the campaign. The Javelinas travel to Lutheran (San Antonio, TX) to play the Mustangs in a non-league bout on Tuesday, December 27. The Mustangs come into the bout with a record of 2-5.

Next up, the Coyotes/Lobos (for girls) play the Fox Tech Buffaloes (San Antonio, TX) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, December 20. Uvalde will attempt to upgrade on its 5-14 season record.
