Texas High School Basketball - Uvalde nips Devine
February 10, 2023: Devine, TX 78016 Uvalde Coyotes/Lobos (for girls) (Uvalde, TX) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the host Devine Warhorses (Devine, TX), 72-71 in a league bout.
With the win, Uvalde upgrades its record to 11-21 on the season. The Coyotes/Lobos (for girls) host Somerset (Somerset, TX) to play the Bulldogs in a 4A Region IV District 29 bout on Tuesday, February 14. The Bulldogs go into the bout with a record of 22-9. Somerset won 79-35 in their recent league bout against Floresville (Floresville, TX)
Next up, the Warhorses play the Carrizo Springs Wildcats (Carrizo Springs, TX) in a 4A Region IV District 29 bout, on Tuesday, February 14. Devine will attempt to upgrade on its 10-19 season record. The Wildcats go into the bout with a 11-17 record after their 90-51 league loss to Pleasanton (Pleasanton, TX).
