The Eastside Lions (Lancaster, CA) basketball knocked off the host Highland Bulldogs (Palmdale, CA), 55-36 in Friday's league test.

The Lions (12-1) will now prepare for their test against Glendale (Glendale, CA). The Nitros go into the non-league test with a 7-7 record.

The Bulldogs now own a 3-7 record. They play next when they travel to Valley Academy of Arts & Sciences for a non-league test on Monday, December 19. Highland will encounter a Vipers squad coming off a 52-51 league loss to Sherman Oaks CES (Reseda, CA). The Vipers record now stands at 5-6.
