North Carolina High School Basketball - Greene Central crushes SouthWest Edgecombe

December 16, 2022: Snow Hill, NC 28580

Greene Central Rams (Snow Hill, NC) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting SouthWest Edgecombe Cougars (Pinetops, NC), 79-40 in a league bout.

With the win, Greene Central upgrades its record to 7-2 on the season. The Rams host Beddingfield (Wilson, NC) to clash with the Bruins in a non-league bout on Wednesday, December 21. The Bruins go into the bout with a record of 3-5. Beddingfield won 41-38 in their recent non-league bout against Nash Central (Rocky Mount, NC)

Next up, the Cougars clash with the North Edgecombe Warriors (Tarboro, NC) in a non-league bout, on Thursday, December 29. SouthWest Edgecombe will attempt to upgrade on its 1-6 season record. The Warriors go into the bout with a 4-2 record after their 75-69 league win over Southeast Halifax (Halifax, NC).
