The Quartz Hill Royals (Quartz Hill, CA) basketball nipped the visiting Knight Hawks (Palmdale, CA), 63-57 in Friday's league test.

The Royals (5-5) will now prepare for their test against Grant (Van Nuys, CA). The Lancers go into the non-league test with a 4-0 record. In their last test, Grant got by Poly (Sun Valley, CA), 88-45, in a league test.

The Hawks now own a 9-5 record. They play next when they travel to Simi Valley for a non-league test on Monday, December 19. Knight will encounter a Pioneers squad coming off a 70-66 non-league win over Westlake (Westlake Village, CA). The Pioneers record now stands at 8-4.
