Pennsylvania High School Basketball - Leechburg edges St. Joseph
December 16, 2022: Leechburg, PA 15656 In Friday's non-league outing, the Leechburg Blue Devils (Leechburg, PA) basketball squad nipped the visiting St. Joseph Spartans (Natrona Heights, PA), by a margin of 69-62.
The Blue Devils (4-4) will now prepare for their outing against Jeannette (Jeannette, PA). The Jayhawks go into the WPIAL 2A 3 outing with a 5-1 record. In their last outing, Jeannette got by Serra Catholic (McKeesport, PA), 67-62, in a league outing.
The Spartans now own a 4-2 record. They play next when they host Northgate for a non-league outing on Tuesday, December 20. St. Joseph will encounter a Flames squad coming off a 72-45 non-league win over Cornell (Coraopolis, PA). The Flames record now stands at 2-3.
