December 29, 2022: Leechburg, PA 15656 In Thursday's non-league outing, the Leechburg Blue Devils (Leechburg, PA) basketball squad overwhelmed the visiting Apollo Ridge Vikings (Spring Church, PA), by a margin of 61-29.
The Blue Devils (6-5) will now prepare for their outing against Greensburg Central Catholic (Greensburg, PA). The Centurions go into the WPIAL 2A 3 outing with a 5-4 record. In their last outing, Greensburg Central Catholic smashed Connellsville (Connellsville, PA), 68-19, in a non-league outing.
The Vikings now own a 1-9 record. They play next when they host Ligonier Valley for a WPIAL 3A 3 outing on Wednesday, January 4. Apollo Ridge will clash with a Rams squad coming off a 86-60 non-league loss to Geibel Catholic (Connellsville, PA). The Rams record now stands at 1-10.
