Oregon High School Basketball - Stanfield nips McLoughlin
December 16, 2022: Stanfield, OR 97875 Stanfield Tigers (Stanfield, OR) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the visiting McLoughlin Pioneers (Milton-Freewater, OR), 51-45 in a non-league bout.
With the win, Stanfield upgrades its record to 5-2 on the season. The Tigers travel to Nixyaawii Community (Pendleton, OR) to play the Eagles in a non-league bout on Saturday, December 17. The Eagles go into the bout with a record of 2-0. Nixyaawii Community won 80-63 in their recent non-league bout against Myrtle Point (Myrtle Point, OR)
Next up, the Pioneers play the Vale Vikings (Vale, OR) in a 3A Eastern Oregon bout, on Friday, January 6. McLoughlin will attempt to upgrade on its 1-5 season record.
