Indiana High School Basketball - Tippecanoe Valley tops Whitko

Tippecanoe Valley Vikings (Akron, IN) backers were pleased Friday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the visiting Whitko Wildcats (South Whitley, IN), 56-42 in a league bout.

With the victory, Tippecanoe Valley upgrades its record to 5-1 on the campaign. The Vikings host Peru (Peru, IN) to play the Tigers in a Three Rivers bout on Saturday, December 17. The Tigers come into the bout with a record of 4-1. Peru won 49-34 in their recent league bout against Northfield (Wabash, IN)

Next up, the Wildcats play the Maconaquah Braves (Bunker Hill, IN) in a Three Rivers bout, on Tuesday, December 20. Whitko will attempt to upgrade on its 1-6 season record. The Braves come into the bout with a 4-3 record after their 68-52 non-league win over Logansport (Logansport, IN).
