The Peru Tigers basketball team scored 51 points and held the host Tippecanoe Valley Vikings to 41 in the Tigers league triumph on Saturday.

The Tigers now sport a 5-1 record. They put it on the line next when they host Huntington North for a non-league contest on Tuesday, December 20. Peru will meet a Vikings team coming off a 43-27 non-league win over Hobart (Hobart, IN). The Vikings record now stands at 2-4.

The Vikings (5-2) will now prepare for their contest against South Bend Riley (South Bend, IN). The Wildcats enter the non-league contest with a 4-4 record.
