Indiana High School Basketball - Peru can't hold off Manchester

February 10, 2023: North Manchester, IN 46962

The Manchester Squires basketball team scored 54 points and restricted the visiting Peru Tigers to 51 in the Squires league victory on Friday.

The Squires now sport a 14-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Lakeland Christian Academy for a non-league contest on Tuesday, February 14. Manchester will battle a Cougars team coming off a 64-62 league win over South Bend Career Academy (South Bend, IN). The Cougars record now stands at 16-3.

The Tigers (12-5) will now prepare for their contest against Western (Russiaville, IN). The Panthers come into the non-league contest with a 11-7 record. In their last contest, Western was nudged by Lewis Cass (Walton, IN), 56-45, in a league contest.
