Indiana High School Basketball - Peru holds off Southwood

Fans at Friday's league challenge between the Peru Tigers (Peru, IN) and the host Southwood Knights (Wabash, IN), saw Peru's basketball squad hold off Southwood by a tally of 69-64.

With the victory, Peru improves its record to 3-1 on the campaign. The Tigers travel to Northfield (Wabash, IN) to confront the Norsemen in a Three Rivers challenge on Saturday, December 10. The Norsemen come into the challenge with a record of 2-2. Northfield lost 62-38 in their recent non-league challenge against Taylor (Kokomo, IN)

Next up, the Knights confront the Eastern Comets (Greentown, IN) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, December 10. Southwood will attempt to improve on its 0-3 season record. The Comets come into the challenge with a 4-1 record after their 69-60 league win over Tri-Central (Sharpsville, IN).
