In Friday's non-league outing, the Van Vandals (Van, TX) basketball squad edged the visiting Wills Point Tigers (Wills Point, TX), by a margin of 42-40.

The Vandals (3-6) will now prepare for their outing against Palestine (Palestine, TX). The Wildcats go into the non-league outing with a 9-4 record. In their last outing, Palestine held off Whitehouse (Whitehouse, TX), 56-46, in a non-league outing.
