December 16, 2022: Wheaton, IL 60187 Fans at Friday's league challenge between the Wheaton-Warrenville South Tigers (Wheaton, IL) and the host Wheaton North Falcons (Wheaton, IL), saw Wheaton-Warrenville South's basketball squad hold off Wheaton North by a tally of 48-46.
With the victory, Wheaton-Warrenville South improves its record to 8-1 on the campaign. The Tigers host Batavia (Batavia, IL) to confront the Bulldogs in a DuKane challenge on Thursday, December 22. The Bulldogs come into the challenge with a record of 3-7. Batavia lost 47-32 in their recent league challenge against Geneva (Geneva, IL)
Next up, the Falcons confront the Glenbard North Panthers (Carol Stream, IL) in a DuKane challenge, on Thursday, December 22. Wheaton North will attempt to improve on its 5-4 season record. The Panthers come into the challenge with a 5-4 record after their 55-40 league loss to Lake Park (Roselle, IL).
