West Branch Warriors (Morrisdale, PA) backers were pleased Friday as they saw their basketball squad bounce the visiting Juniata Valley Hornets (Alexandria, PA), 36-8 in a league bout.

With the victory, West Branch upgrades its record to 1-4 on the campaign. The Warriors travel to Williamsburg (Williamsburg, PA) to play the Blue Pirates in a bout on Monday, December 19. The Blue Pirates come into the bout with a record of 0-0.

Next up, the Hornets play the Curwensville Golden Tide (Curwensville, PA) in a bout, on Thursday, December 22. Juniata Valley will attempt to upgrade on its 0-1 season record.
