Fans at Friday's league challenge between the Montgomery County Indians (Mt. Sterling, KY) and the host Bourbon County Colonels (Paris, KY), saw Montgomery County's basketball squad wallop Bourbon County by a tally of 62-39.

With the victory, Montgomery County improves its record to 6-1 on the campaign. The Indians travel to Cooper (Union, KY) to confront the Jaguars in a non-league challenge on Saturday, December 17. The Jaguars come into the challenge with a record of 3-2. Cooper won 62-39 in their recent league challenge against Conner (Hebron, KY)

Next up, the Colonels confront the Western Hills Wolverines (Frankfort, KY) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, January 3. Bourbon County will attempt to improve on its 0-2 season record.
