The Burke Bulldogs (Charleston, SC) basketball felled the visiting Palmetto Scholars Academy Phoenix (North Charleston, SC), 39-28 in Friday's league test.

The Bulldogs (1-5) will now prepare for their test against North Charleston (North Charleston, SC). The Cougars go into the non-league test with a 5-1 record. In their last test, North Charleston thwarted Colleton County (Walterboro, SC), 40-37, in a non-league test.
