In Friday's non-league match, the visiting Canyon Comanches basketball team scored a tight 59-54 triumph over the Cypress Centurions.

In their next game, the Comanches meet the Tustin Tillers (Tustin, CA) in a non-league match, on Wednesday, December 21. Canyon will attempt to better on its 5-8 season record.

With the defeat, Cypress moves to 9-3 on the year. The Centurions travel to Marina (Huntington Beach, CA) to meet the Vikings in a non-league match on Tuesday, December 27. The Vikings enter the match with a record of 6-6.
