Michigan High School Basketball - Coleman tops Merrill

December 16, 2022: Coleman, MI 48618

Coleman Comets (Coleman, MI) backers were pleased Friday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the visiting Merrill Vandals (Merrill, MI), 33-25 in a league bout.

With the victory, Coleman upgrades its record to 2-3 on the campaign. The Comets travel to Farwell (Farwell, MI) to play the Eagles in a non-league bout on Monday, December 19. The Eagles come into the bout with a record of 5-0.

Next up, the Vandals play the Fulton Pirates (Middleton, MI) in a Mid-State bout, on Tuesday, December 20. Merrill will attempt to upgrade on its 1-5 season record. The Pirates come into the bout with a 2-4 record after their 31-22 league loss to Carson City-Crystal (Carson City, MI).
