The Cornerstone Eagles basketball team scored 45 points and held the host West Blocton Tigers to 10 in the Eagles non-league triumph on Friday.

The Eagles now sport a 9-6 record. They put it on the line next when they host Vincent for a 2A Area 8 contest on Monday, December 19. Cornerstone will battle a Yellow Jackets team coming off a 48-44 non-league loss to Talladega County Central (Talladega, AL). The Yellow Jackets record now stands at 3-3.
