Oglethorpe County Patriots (Lexington, GA) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Tallulah Falls Indians (Tallulah Falls, GA), 61-47 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Oglethorpe County upgrades its record to 6-2 on the season. The Patriots travel to Elbert County (Elberton, GA) to clash with the Blue Devils in a non-league bout on Saturday, December 17. The Blue Devils go into the bout with a record of 6-1. Elbert County won 67-39 in their recent non-league bout against Murray County (Chatsworth, GA)

Next up, the Indians clash with the Westminster Christian Academy Lions (Watkinsville, GA) in a non-league bout, on Saturday, December 17. Tallulah Falls will attempt to upgrade on its 2-8 season record. The Lions go into the bout with a 4-4 record after their 48-31 non-league loss to Athens Academy (Athens, GA).
