December 16, 2022: Rumson, NJ 07760 Fans at Friday's non-league challenge between the Sparta Spartans (Sparta, NJ) and the host Rumson-Fair Haven Bulldogs (Rumson, NJ), saw Sparta's basketball squad knock off Rumson-Fair Haven by a count of 54-45.
With the victory, Sparta upgrades its record to 1-0 on the campaign. The Spartans host Morris Hills (Rockaway, NJ) to play the Knights in a Northwest Jersey - National challenge on Saturday, December 17. The Knights come into the challenge with a record of 0-0.
Next up, the Bulldogs play the Colts Neck Cougars (Colts Neck, NJ) in a Shore A - Central challenge, on Monday, December 19. Rumson-Fair Haven will attempt to upgrade on its 0-2 season record.
