California High School Basketball - Portola holds off San Clemente
December 16, 2022: San Clemente, CA 92673 Fans at Friday's non-league challenge between the Portola Bulldogs (Irvine, CA) and the host San Clemente Tritons (San Clemente, CA), saw Portola's basketball squad hold off San Clemente by a tally of 46-45.
With the victory, Portola improves its record to 11-1 on the campaign. The Bulldogs travel to Sunny Hills (Fullerton, CA) to confront the Lancers in a non-league challenge on Saturday, December 17. The Lancers come into the challenge with a record of 1-3. Sunny Hills won 26-24 in their recent non-league challenge against San Juan Hills (San Juan Capistrano, CA)
Next up, the Tritons confront the Crean Lutheran Saints (Irvine, CA) in a non-league challenge, on Thursday, January 5. San Clemente will attempt to improve on its 2-1 season record.
